I feel like i learn more using the Wall Street Journal.Then a text book,Reasoning being is because the Wall Street have article that i am interest in.Instead of a textbook with a boring story and taking notes.Plus it has real story that take place in real life,that talks about what goes on in are country and the world.

Reading the paper affect my schedae cause it mean I had to take 15 minutes or 20 minutes out of my day to read the paper.Which is not a problem because the paper had some intersting stories some days.It Also didint affect my study habits or my performance in class.

No I do not plan to continue my subscription to the wall street journal.Because I dont think Iwould have the time to read it.I made time to read it for class,but other then that I would not.But if I was on the web and want it to read a story Ill vist it the website,Instead subscription to the paper.

I have no suggestions for this course or the insructor.Because Mr Carpenter was a good teacher.I enjoyed his class and his talks about differant media stuff that going on in the world today.

Yes I am likely to pursue a career in Mass Communications,As a Sports Broadcaster is my goal to reach.

Which social-networking services do you use?
The social-networking services that I use is myspace and I recently sgin up for twitter.

If you use any service-How much time do you spend using the services,on average,each week? What "value" would you put on the time you spend using the sites-how important is it to you?Would you pay a fee to keep your account(s)? If yes, how much would you pay (annually)?

The average time I use Myspace each week is between 3 to 4 hours and Twitter less then a hour.What I value from Myspace and Twitter is, like how the site is setup how you can meet new friends and people.Myspace and Twitter is not important to me like there other stuff in my life that I value more.Would I pay a fee to keep my account? No i would i not because then i would it be interest anymore.Free to me means better.

My favorite movie that i would watch over and over if i was on a deserted island.Remember The Titans staring Dezel Washington and Will Patton.Its my favorite movie because i love football and that moive explain, that no matter what color you are everybody a team and should work together and win together.The emotional attachment that i have to the movie, was that it remind me all the time when i was in high school. And there were only three blacks kids on the baseball team and the rest of the team was white.At first the black kids would only hang around with there friends and the whites would hang with they friends.But sooner or later we all came together as a group and as team to win and be friends till this day.

Which do i perfer seeing a flim at a theater, or watching it in another venue or on another platform? I like watching movies at a theater,because the setting is right you have your friends with you and okay food and just a fun event. The disadvantages going to the movies is you have to use gas and you have to pay for a ticket and your food,plus there sometimes rude people there also. The advantages watching a movie at home,is you can invented who ever you want to come over and you have free food at your house and you don't have use gas to.

I thought the Academy Awards was good and long, but for the most part it was good.I liked the host Hugh Jack men he did a good job singing and dance and hosting as well.I also liked when Beyonce performance that was nice to. Next year they should let somebody host it like Chris Rock or Chris Tucker I think it would be funny if they had one of them. 

ESSAY NO.1

My newspaper reading habits prior to receiving the Wall Street Journal.Was that I would only read the sports page in the Orlando Sentical.I would read the paper two times a week or so.

My opinion of newspaper in general is that they are okay with me.They sometimes supply your needs in getting the news.Like in the sport page if a game was late that night,the paper won't have the stats until the next day of the next day.Its kind of sucks cause if i miss the game that night.I would not be able to see the stats of last night game cause i would have to wait the next day of next day.

How do you feel about using Wall Street Journal to learn abot Mass Communications? Ifeel that it will be a interesting way to learn about mass communications,never read the the wall street journal before, so it should be cool.

My learning expectations for this class? Should be cool learning differant ways to communications through out the world.I think that the wall street jouranl will meet some of my expectations.

How do I feel about using a newspaper rather then a traditional textbook?Never done that before I usually have a textbooks that explain what we learing and how we to do stuff.But it always nice to try something differeant.
